Paradise and Hell are cities in Michigan. Paradise is a small town in the upper Peninsula, not far from the coast of Lake Superior. It doesn't live up to its name particularly well. It is kind of run down and icky looking.

Hell, Michigan, on the otherhand is a happening kind of place. They have festivals on Halloween and a major blow-out this past June 6th, (6/6/6, get it?).

If you lived here, you'd know that it is usually colder in Paradise than it is in Hell, and Hell isn't too far from Kalamazoo.

(speaking from a religious point of view) because we live and exist on earth to learn justice and right from wrong and to prepare for salvation, paradise and hell cannot teach us anything. Therefore their purpose is probably true justice. We get what we deserve for the lives we lived. I mean we cant learn anything from these 2 places when we go there b/c we'll already be dead.

Paradise is motivational in the quest to discover the variances between good and evil. It's a positive reward for good deeds, and living a caring life. The will of God.

Hell is the representation of evil; the consequences of living a life of evil deeds and living an uncaring life. The will of Satan.

Paradise and Hell together serve the purpose of relieving human guilt and allows for the possibility of correcting one's self for spiritual healing.

What do you mean "if yes"? This is not a yes or no question. Paradise is Heaven, where people that accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior go. Hell is for everone else. Because we've all sinned and fallen short...That is the purpose. Salvation is a free gift.

Originally, God created only Paradise (for man to enjoy) and man (in God`s image & likeness) and give them free will (so, man wouldn`t think He is a robot just because he is a creations)
Since evilness exist from the jealous angels (fallen angels, satan) and trying to influence everybody to get bad and go against God...thus God made hell, for bad guys to suffer and burn in eternity (their punishment)
While those who obey God`s order, teachings & suggestions will be rewarded to live with Him in eternity of Love, Peace, Joy, Harmony, Happiness, etc.

Paridise...being within the illumination (knowledge and love) of God

Hell...being hidden from that knowledge.

Purpose of hell...to scare all the little people into playing nice.

Purpose of Heaven...to con all the little people to play nice...

Is there paradise? Yes, but not within the human conception of it because it is a human conception...and intrinsicly selfish...and all the good little theists should know the core of the philosophy is to rid one's self of selfish ideals....

And that is all I have to say about that.
