That when i did the shopping for christmas dinner yesterday afternoon everyone seemed too preoccupied to even bother wishing others Merry Christmas?
I even said it to some shop assistants to get a look that had me wonder why i bothered.

Master: Sinterklaas's helper is called Zwarte Piet. He carries the sac that has all the presents. There is a variation where all the bad children get put in the bag and get taken back to Spain. No one ever says what happens to them there. Don't tell me about Sinterklaas you heretic. I even sat on his lap when i was a kid!

No, it's not your imagination. I've seen it everywhere - a particularly miserable young woman in Lloyds TSB on Tuesday.

Santa Claus is based on the legend of St Nicholas.
Who had a companion named Krampus, an "evil" spirit.
Isn't that just they way a demon would think?
"Yo Nick. Let's give everybody lots and lots of presents.
And the old "Keeping up with the Joneses will kick in",
and we'll make them all sick!"
I think it was intentionally designed by evil to ruin our
Holiday.
