Is it possible to have you rmenopause so early? I am 29 years old and recently, I have discovered that my menses are confusing, with light bleeding only for four days. Two weeks ago, when I went to my gynea, she said I was having mid-cycle bleeding. But I personally think that that bleeing, although lasted for three days, but seems to be heavier than the recent menses that I got on Dec 22 and ended today. It is very light and only occasional. Anyone that can help me out? Thanks!
Merry Chirstmas and Happy New Year!

Unless your physician did specific testing, just telling you that you are having mid-cycle bleeding is not a satisfactory answer.

Whenever you have something happening out of the ordinary with your menstrual cycles there is ALWAYS a reason - and those reasons sometimes aren't good, like cancer.

If I were you, I would go for a second opinion from another doctor as soon as possible. Don't be put off or pacified with just a verbal guess. You have to be your own best advocate. Speak up!

I think you need another Gyn. Go right away, the bleeding you are experiencing could be polyps or is also a sign of early cervical cancer. The reason I know this, is because I had the same symptoms, and because my Gyn was on the ball, we found the cause right away. I was fortunate ,it was polyps. But, don't play around with it. Make the new year be about taking care of yourself. Best Wishes!

Well I heard that menopause usually comes late in the years around 40's and 50's, but so many young girls these days are getting their periods at like 8 or 9, so I can believe that a women's cycle can change periodically and anything can be possible.

Yes, it can happen but it is extemely unlikely. You would also have other symptoms and probably a history of health issues. From what you describe it does sound like mid-cycle bleeding. If it concerns you a lot, ask your doctor to test your hormone levels. But I find it much more likely what your gyno says and I would relax about it.

I had my menopause at 32!!!!! But that was because i had too many miscarriages and lots of hormone treatment. In between I did bleed but very rare . sometimes the bleeding would not stop and I had to take medicines.Do you have any hormonal problems ?

I think I would get a second opinion, did your gyn take any tests or exams? There are other reasons your menses can mess up. Good luck.
