i found on a site that this publisher is offering free books poetry via email for the xmas period. Is this a hoax or for real - do publishers give away there books for free

Nope...no books come free (except when you steal them). If you download free e-books from the net, they are probably infected with spyware

i understand they are giving away free pdf format books . They will send them to you by email so it seems you dont even have to give any other details than your email address. As above some puiblishers may do this to get their author noticed if it is true then why not get a christmas free gift if there are books that appeal

The first or second book may be free. But after that there's a big chance that they will keep sending you books ... with a bill.

It's best to go by the 'nothing is really free' rule on the internet.

Sometimes publishers do give away books for free. They can claim it as advertising expenses.

the first few books u get they will probably be free cause the publisher and author want to get well know and popular

Sometimes publishers need to do that to take away all the bad printings.That is why they give them free.

some writers have to give free stuff in order to get famous. i mean would u buy a book for an author u never heard of? and then again it's christmas so get ur gift.

many publishers provide free copies of books to educators for use in their classrooms...penguin publishing does it

the e book titles they grant on that internet site.........do no longer even sound actual. possibly they are selp-printed books...arrogance Press....and no person will purchase them, so as that they provide them away.
