I was trying to asked him about those things when we first met, but he said he cannot tell for another reasons and though past is past. I am thinking why he is thinking right now that it is the right time to say everything he was hidden on me before, he said he doesnt want to hurt or lose me either.

If it was things in his past, let him say it when he is ready. Some people are not proud of there pasts and need to be able to talk about in there own time. Do not hold his past against him. People can and do change and maybe he is a totally different person than he was before. You can t judge him for his past only for the person he is today. A lot of people have regrets in life, thats how you learn and become a better person is learning from your past..When he is ready, let him tell you. Some people have a very painful past and cannot just tell you about it when you want to know, they do it on there own time when they are ready. Look at it this way, he is telling you know because he is comfortable with telling you so, he must love you.

Is he living a clean, honest life and treating you well? If so, he just might be embarrassed about things from the past. I can empathize with that. Let him know you love him for how you two are together now. And if there are things he needs to get off his chest from the past, you're there for him without judgment. But only if you mean it.

I agree that past is past , you have to know any thing that happened in the present time only but before he knew you it is not your right...... so if he want to tell you what her was hiding in the past i think he wants to leave you and pretend as if he loves you and doesn't want to hurt you ,If i was in your position I will tell him that I don't want to knew his past his and he shouldn't knew my past either , if he insist i would listen to him and give my self time to think of what he say and then decide to continue with him or not

It would depend on what he was hiding. Many people uncomfortable disclosing childhood abuse etc, which is understandable. However if he was hiding a previous (or current) marriage, criminal record or something of that nature I would be concerned. In many cases once the lies or omissions start, they never stop.

Don't you see the red flags here?? Dump this chump for his secretative sorted past. If you know something is there, why are you with this guy who will ultimately cause you heartache and pain??? Dump him and move on. If you stay, you are asking for problems so stop whining about it.

You love him, so forget about his past if he does not want to tell.you may get hurt. live in the present, for when you look back you sprain your neck.
