Here is a very good way to track the progress and schedule of your period. It's a menstrual calendar. Get a plain calendar and begin marking off the days when you get your period. Other things you may want to note on the calendar are:
- how you feel that day (lots of pain, no pain, sad, upset)
- any back pain you may feel
- cravings or different behaviour
- lots of flow or very little flow
This is something you can bring to your doctor and show her if you are having problems. It is also good knowledge for you to be able to predict (roughly) when your next period will occur.
Here's one that you can print out for yourself:

No, if you're just starting, you will develop a pattern but might be a little erratic for awhile. It will eventally settle down to be around every 28 or 30 days or so, depends on your body, your own personal pattern. Stress and illness can throw the pattern off temporarily also.

It will take a while for the cycle to set in and become regular. You'll need to record the days it starts in a calendar, you'll be watching to see that it comes regularly, not that it comes on a certain day, but that your body establishes it's own unique pattern. Every woman will cycle differently, and depending on the days in your cycle, will determine what day of the month it falls on.

Not definately. Your peroid dates will change a lot... I started mine a year ago and sometimes it can be at the beginning and sometimes at the end of the month. Somethimes both!! You probably won't get it at the same time next year, it usually takes a few years to regulate. Good Luck! Happy Holidays!

not necessarily but maybe the best thing to do is keep track of how many months this happens and if you regulate out then maybe its the 25 of each month that you will get it.
