What military jobs could someone pick that would have the least chance of going overseas. I know all the jobs have a chance of going, but there has got to be some that have less of a chance than others.

I forgot to mention, only out of the army jobs.

My husband is a West Point Grad and says anything that is specialized such as Rocket Engineer, Missile Engineer, a position with OSI, which is equivalent to FBI, the military wants to keep these type of people on U.S. soil. If you have a degree in any scientific area, or a top secret clearance in the engineering and scientific area, the military will keep you here.

Coast Guard is the least likely to go overseas.

I was crypto in the Air Force, AFSC 30650...army MOS 32 foxtrot....most of us stay stateside or in very protected environments....requires top secret crypto clearance though...can't have any police record at all.
