It's said that King of the Jungle is Lion But not tiger. Why ?

The lion is "king of beasts"; they don't live in the jungle. It's just an old saying due to them being on the top of the food chain on the savanna where they do live. Calling a tiger "King of the jungle" would be appropriate, since they live in the forest, but its not as catchy. "Lord of the Jungle" has better meter to it, but Tarzan already took that nick name.

because there can be only one king...and the lion, with the great big mane of hair wrapped around his neck was chosen many many years ago. The tiger is too elusive to be seen as the king, and while a beautiful animal, does not compare to the large-headed, maned lion

Because the lion has mane around its face with looks like a crown,
it gets jealous about its lair(shelter) unlike the tiger, and it has high dignity

because the lion will eat and kill anything it wants. but other animals, the tiger, are less likey to eat anything.
