EDIT: Yes, definitely Rhode Island.

EDIT 2: Eh, actually no. Rhode Island apparently isn't actually an island. :) Stupid name. Still the smallest state. :p

Then the next answer is either Hawaii or New Jersey which is where I'm from. New Jersey is smaller and never actually touches mainland, but I don't think river boundaries fully qualify it as an island. So I'll go with Hawaii like the others.

Rhode Island is smallest, Vermont is next, and they are very angry, mean people in Vermont, it's the poorest state in the U.S. with no export, or business there, so everybody is angry that there is no money there, they try and rip off people from out of state as much as they can.
