My teacher says that the moon will cease to exist due to corporate pollution in the next 8-10 years. Why aren't real journalists asking Exxon or McDonalds about this?

Because most people are more interested in the latest exploits of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears than anything that could actually impact their life. If it bleeds (or doesn't wear panties) it leads, and lunar pollution doesn't attract the papparatzi.

Again, your teacher is nuts. How does Exxon or McDonald's affect the moon?

I think what you are referring to is the night sky which is non-visible due to pollution from internal combustion engines.

If it was literally concerning lunar pollution then you're just trying to brighten our Christmas.
