I understand your spirit (if not your words!). Here in the US, Illinois in particular, Christmas has been wonderful. Lots of food, presents dear to us because money is so tight, family members we love and family members we can't stand, dirty dishes and pans piled to the ceiling (I'm waiting for the elves to clean), and sentimental and funny Christmas songs on the radio. So, yes, it is a spiffing Christmas. Hope your day only gets better...
