Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley & His Comets. Incidentally, that song is also notable for being the first rock & roll song played in a major motion picture, The Blackboard Jungle (1956).

Good question... not many people remember they started with Rock around the Clock and switched to Happy Days later on.
