Yes it is a very sad fact that some women are forced into pregnancy by Rape. Even though it is a small Percent of those raped and a small Percent of those who seek abortion. It is still horribly unfair and one case where the "Pro-Choice" crowd actually has a point when they use the word 'choice'. The answer to this problem is very hard. The only points I will make are these, The child is not to blame and killing her can never solve the problem. I too pray for those women who face this dilemma.

Personally I think it depends on the circumstance. I believe that a woman has the right to abort, if she chooses to do so under two main conditions.

1)The first condition is rape. The woman did not choose to be pregnant, it was forced upon her. The emotions and feelings mixed in with having a child from these circumstances are ones I do not even pretend to comprehend. I believe that in this situation the woman should have a right to choose whether or not she keeps the unborn child. while I think it is a shame to kill the fetus (I think adoption is a better option), as I said before. I have never had this happen so I am clueless and cannot truly understand there perspective. I believe that if the woman takes part in sexual activities willingly , but is mentally handicap or too young (9 or below, which happens in rare cases) this qualifies as rape as well, though this issue is a bit deeper because of the lack of mental capabilities to make a decision and understand fully the situation

2) I think that the second situation is when the baby could for whatever reason possibly seriously hurt or kill the mother. If there is a chance that the mother could be killed because her body is not fit to deliver and she knows this is so. I believe abortion should be an option

Situations such as the above are the times when abortion can be considered. Other than that, I do not think it to be right. If a mother gets pregnant whether she or her partner took any precautions to avoid such occurences or not does not change anything. It is known that no birth control other than abstinence is 100% effective. And, such facts ARE NOT the childs fault, whom I believe is a living soul from the moment it is concieved (the correct term?)I also do not believe that teenagers should have the option of abortion. While it can be argued that they do not truly understand what they are doing. I for one do not think this to be true. I am 14 and if I got pregnant (though I am a virgin and plan to stay one till marriage) I would understand EXACTLY what I had done. providing abortion (escpecially without the consent of parents) does not teach them responsibility. It teaches them that they can do whatever they want, and then terminate the results. IF I am 14 and understand the consequesnces of possible sexual actions, so can they

nd whats with all the thumbs down?

If you are referring to abortion, I believe that is a woman's personal choice. If it is a pregnancy that is the result of rape, again, it would be that woman's choice to either end the pregnancy or live with a child not conceived in love. Yes, I too pray for such women as I did counsel many in the past who were just young girls, and while no suggestions were made the options were all put on the table. Again it is an individual choice.

You probably think about abortion. Yes, they have a right for abortion if they don't want to keep the baby, especially if a woman got pregnant by rape. However, it is NOT KILLING THE CHILD, it is abortion. Those are two different things. if the child is already born, it would be a murder, cause it is not a part of her body anymore and should be treated as a person. Abortion is still not a murder, since it is a women's own body concerned.

You can let your child be born and then kill him, which is murder.
you'll probably do time.

You can hire some one to shoot you in the abdomen and kill your baby in there, That is murder, both of you will be arrested.
you'll probably do time.

You can get an abortionist to kill your baby (and I don't know the difference, in God's eyes it is the same), you get to go free along with the doc that did the nasty deed.
You'll probably not do time. Sad ain't it?

In answer to your Question.

The life in the womb does not belong to the woman carrying it.
It is God given.
No woman has the right to decide if that god given life should live or die.

It's a horrible thing but NO. What if you had been that child? Have you done anything that would have warranted the excruciating pain of an abortion? Are you evil? Neither is that child.

God only knows why things happen...but every child is planned for some reason, and no one has the right to murder and alter the path God had planned for anyone.

For you to do so, would mean condemnation of your soul...because then not only did that person rape you, he robbed you of your soul too.

In the United States women have the right to have an abortion reguardless of the child being conceived of rape or not.

Life is a gift whether given by choice or merely thrust upon a woman. It is a burden that we suffer, and have suffered for millions of years. That doesn't change the fact that when we kill our children we kill half of us. Miracles come everyday, and just because something isn't in the shiniest wrapping paper doesn't mean it's not a great gift.

If you mean that she was ambushed and raped. Then,it's up to her. But, if she's married to a man or living with a boyfriend and he abandons her after they have a baby or she gets pregnant and she decides to kill the child. That's still murder.

No.Everyone has the right to live a life.A decent one, of course. If she wants to kill the child to forget the bad experience it will just keep on haunting her.I guess its in her own opinion to raise the child or to abort it.But then if she chooses to raise the child, she will just become more indepent, strong, respected. She will be respected as she respected the baby's life. Its just a matter of balance. The life of the child is in her own hands like our life is in the hands of GOD.(CHECK THE BIBLE Genesis 6:5-7)So its probably her choice. Its her choice if she makes the right choice or not.
