Talk to professional immediately or someone you trust. Don't do this to your family and to yourself. The bible said, "Thou shall not murder." It does include you. What comes after murdering yourself is a horrible place beyond measure.

There is always hope - think of those people - refugees no place to live and not enough food to feed their children and they still find hope. I'm sure you have parents and/or family in your life, and a place to live. You speak the language, you don't need to go and learn it. Honey, you are better off than a lot of people on this planet. This is a land of opportunity; everybody is trying to get in here. You are here, make it happens. You can do anything your mindset to do; "where there is a will there is a way." Why not focus on the good thing instead of bad ones?

Take a look around the world; people are dying of starvation not because they want to, but because of circumstances. Do you want to throw your life away because you're depressed? Get help.

I know I can do anything because I believe; and you don't. The sun is just behind the cloud; it's always there. Hope exists if you look for it. Chin up! Go out and have fun with friends. Think of the good times. You're too young to throw your life away.

Not sure what you're experiencing, but a lot of people feel exceptionally crappy at this time of year even though we are all expected to be intoxicatingly happy... Consider all that you've accomplished (big and small) and where you've been (mentally, physically, geographically, spiritually, etc.). And remember: you've contributed to this planet in one shape or form, and you are here for a reason. This too shall pass... Read the excerpt below, and access the URL's for the full article(s). Oh, and check out the wacky celebrity news at Perez Hilton to illustrate an entertaining, self-indulgent, bizarre side of humanity. Hang in there.

Stress, depression and the holidays: 12 tips for coping
For some people, the holidays bring unwelcome guests — stress and depression. And it's no wonder. In an effort to pull off a perfect Hallmark holiday, you might find yourself facing a dizzying array of demands — work, parties, shopping, baking, cleaning, caring for elderly parents or kids on school break, and scores of other chores. So much for peace and joy, right?

Actually, with some practical tips, you can minimize the stress and depression that often accompany the holidays. You may even end up enjoying the holidays more than you thought you would.

The trigger points of holiday stress
Holiday stress and depression are often the result of three main trigger points. Understanding these trigger points can help you plan ahead on how to accommodate them.

Here are the three areas that commonly trigger holiday stress or depression:

Relationships. Relationships can cause turmoil, conflict or stress at any time. But tensions are often heightened during the holidays. Family misunderstandings and conflict can intensify — especially if you're all thrust together for several days. Conflicts are bound to arise with so many needs and interests to accommodate. On the other hand, if you're facing the holidays without a loved one, you may find yourself especially lonely or sad.
Finances. Like your relationships, your financial situation can cause stress at any time of the year. Overspending during the holidays on gifts, travel, food and entertainment can increase stress as you try to make ends meet while ensuring that everyone on your gift list is happy.
Physical demands. The strain of shopping, attending social gatherings and preparing holiday meals can wipe you out. Feeling exhausted increases your stress, creating a vicious cycle. Exercise and sleep — good antidotes for stress and fatigue — may take a back seat to chores and errands. High demands, stress, lack of exercise, and overindulgence in food and drink — these are all ingredients for holiday illness.

There are many problems that you face that if you only knew how, if you reach out, there is help and once you reach out, your problems can be helped. Once you get help, you may realize on what you really could have missed out that is just right around the corner. There is an actor who tried to commit suicide and now he thanks God that it didn't work as he is the most successful he has ever been. He is now married with children and has a great career. There are those that also do not succeed in the suicide attempt and wind up living as a vegetable, in worse shape than they were before. I urge you to seek help. There are more people that love you than you think. I had an Army buddy who did succeed at suicide. It was the saddest thing I went through. His family and friends all blamed themselves. Think about what you would put them through. Don't do it. I will be praying for you. You do have many things to offer. Many love you. Also, I would recommend going out and volunteering to help those who need something. The best thing to help get out of your depression is to start helping others. You wouldn't believe how your spirit starts to lift and how much you lift others. Even if it is just opening the door for someone who has both hands full, little things. Volunteer at a hospital and put smiles on faces around you whose lives really need it.

What do you love in this world? Are there people that you want the best in the world for? It is not because of these people that you should live for. There are people in the world that want to see you happy. What is it that you are trying to find in this world that makes your precious life worth living? There is always something for somebody in this world. I want you to go and find what makes you happy. That is the only way in which you could say that you did not live your life in vain and gave up on your life by trying to take the easy way out. There is nobody in this world that can truly be content with their lives. However, it not only for us, but for the future of the world that we have to strive to make this a better world and to have a part in the brighter future for those who come after us...

Believe in The Lord Jesus and you will be saved. All you have to do is say a quiet prayer in your heart " Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner" and you will find peace with the Creator of the Universe who came to Earth in the form of a human being named Jesus of Nazereth on (symbolically) Christmas day 2000 or so years ago. He bore our sins on the cross so we could have forgiveness. If you dont believe me, try it . Say that prayer in your in your heart and your troubled soul will find peace. Anonymous.

i can tell you from first hand experiance that suiccide is not the way to go . depression that is clinical depression is sure as hell not the way to go either.
i went for a great many years depressed and the fact is i am still that way but now with a combination of meds i dont really think about suicide often at all. sure i get upset like everyone and then think #%$% this but its not a thought that sticks around.
i had to go for years not really knowing that depression was such a problem in life for me reactive depression from childhood
no not bad parents just other life stuff that would make any person depressed.
later that same depression went on to become a low grade constant depression and still later full blown bad as it gets depresion.
i think at this point in my answer your think that guy should have killed himself . well i did . some times i came closer then others but not one time was this just a cry for help instead it was really a desire to die.
med after med doctor and then another doc and out patient treatment in groups all of that was really just not fixing me up it was holding me together but not getting me to the point i could function like i wish i could have.
i know how deep depression goes and how bad it can be i suppose for each its different but i think its like pain if we each have the exact same bones broken in the same way we all would feel that pain but for some it would feel one way and others a little different but it would suck for all of us. that i know is what depression does for anyone that has it , it sucks.
blah blah only after not going to a physciatrist did i find that i was able to deal with this with just a regular doctor. he gave me some liberety when it came to the dose and even later what drugs i wanted to try . well i hit on a combination that worked for me
welbutrin and effexor the first one is at the max and the other is about a normal dose for most people.
this combination has changed my life. at least as far as the depression goes. i dont think about such stuff nearly as often and i go to work and manage ok . ok for me because i have some other troubles is not at all what i see ok being for most but even though i am in a bach pad poor run down car with a gas tank that leaks and pain from other things i just dont think about killing myself anymore or hardly ever.
the pills dont change the life they change the thoughts about life to the point that a person gets a chance to feel ok long enough at first to take a breath and regain some of what he wants and needs later more breaks from it and then its back to a much more normal life at least as far as the depression goes. if you were succesfull before with the right care you will be again if you had troubles before more then most that came from something else they will still be there but you will see them in a well lighted room and so be able to stop feeling around in the dark trying to fix something you can hardly see.
i hope and pray you dont give up
do this speak to a doctor . then fake it until you make it .
that means force yourself to do as many normal enyjoyable things as you can after a time they add up and you start to know that this depression can be hit hard enough to send it down for the count.

2 hours ago I posted a related question "What do you think of Suicide as a crime punishable by Death? Will it deter suicides?"

My general impression of their answer is that they rather not contemplate committing suicide lest they risk death punishment. Are you?
