Diana Hyland she was only in four episodes before falling ill; she was written out for the remainder of the first season. Hyland died only 12 days after the first episode aired.

Diana Hyland. She died from cancer. She was also dating John Travolta at the time she passed away.

Diana Hyland. I read a book on the life of John Travolta and it said that she was the great love of his life, even though hes gay.(Just my opinion. Ive seen the pix of him kissing a guy. No nasty e-mails please).
