First of all, promise me you will quit hurting yourself. It sounds like you might have depression which needs a doctor's help. Go to the doctor, or clinic, or hospital, they can help you. I doubt that you are a mass murderer or anything horrible. I'll bet you are a kind and beautiful spirit. Start to accept that this is "A dark night of the soul", daylight will come again - believe me, I've been where you are. Take it one day, or one hour, or one minute at a time and start finding ANYTHING you can be thankful for, even if it's just the air you breathe..., keep looking and thinking only of those things as you see a doctor and get help. Depression tries to tell you there is no hope, but there is hope, lots of it. Tell yourself that even when you don't feel it, your mind does not need to be in control of you.

Sorry you are feeling this way. Teenage years are tough - nothing you do not know already. Try and surround yourself with positive young people - "church" life is good if you are that way inclined and there are plenty of avenues for various sports. There is a reason for self harming and you need to address this - you probably will not do this on your own - so start with a Counsellor - and open up. Depression is extremely common these days, so please don't feel you are alone and be extra kind to yourself. You are worth it.

I agree with the first guy, teenage life is hard cause of your body changing and hormones, keep active in a sport or small activity to keep from getting bored or depressed. Drugs from a doctor is not the answer unless you want to take drugs your whole life, you gotta fight it on your own. Stay away from drugs and stay focused on the positive things in life, eventually no matter how depressed you get you will fight this and you will find something that will get you by. Stay strong eat healthy and go to the gym instead of starving yourself

Try to think like the Christians do, "count your blessings".
Translated means try to think of everything you have going for you.. food to eat, warm place to sleep, people who like or love you, basically all the good things in your life.
These are the first steps toward positive thinking.
Like the others wrote, exercise and learn to do new interesting things.
I used to suffer from lack of self confidence until I began to study for all I was worth. Now I have new found confidence I can share with others that makes me feel real good.

First of all, force yourself to eat. Especially stuff with sugar/ and chocolate. These two substances are very good mood-elevators.
Next start a diet regime where you force yourself to eat every two hours. Keep it healthy.
Take up music/some hobby/ or meditation. Try physical training for a while -- see which of this stuff works for you.

unfortunately, from here, i cant help you..however you always do have the option of helping yourself....go to a doctor...tell them how you feel..not sure how you feel about meds, but they might be able to get you on something that will reduce these feelings. No one deserves to have to feel like this...im sure you are a strong person..however, everyone has a breaking point...just seek the help that you need from professionals...Good luck.

well you're 16, at its normal at that age for your world to go upside down, i can only say that all that you feel of yourself, is not true. talk to your friends, they must feel the same sometimes, and they are the ones that can tell you just how wonderful you are.

Hmmm, well,It might be a problem that happened to you, find what it is and solve it (Worked for me) Start eating,if you don't eat you will be VERY VERY sick and weak.Think of happy thoughts, and don't think that you don't deserve peoples`s love, your just thinking that, everyone adores you so chin up.I suggest that you go visit a friend and talk to him/her about this he/she will understand =).
