Based on these 2 choices I would go witht the Corvette, and the reason is that it is America's own original super sports car. Be proud of it, and support it. Other than that, as far as performance and all of the other specs go when comparing both cars, they are both comparable. Another thing to consider is that should anything mechanically be wrong, then it is much more easily available to have the Corvette repaired rather than the Porsche.

I love the Porsche but have to go with the Z06 because its more everyday livable. More passenger/cargo space. Although the price of gas may sway me to pack light.
