What's the difference between flats and studios?

I would like to rent a private single room with private shower and loo. What should I rent?

flats are bigger more space, a studio is one liitle room with everthing in it. flats you can partition off, both are basically one room though~

I live in a studio, It means a room and most of the time a kitchen in the same area ,an a bath in it private,but flat mean there is a bedroom,kitchen,bathroom. so in flat the bed room and kitchen are seperated.
so usually flats are more expensive.but for one person studio is better because it is cheaper.

flats have a separate bedroom, living area, kitchen, and bath, with wall partitions. a studio on the other hand, is like a square room with your bed, dining etc. next after the other (except of course the loo has it's own door). in many cases, the only partitions would be wardrobes, cabinets.

studios are smaller than flats and have less space for certain things like the living rooms, usually studios have a bedroom, bathroom and the kitchen is open to the living room, so i guess that's what you are looking for;

Flats have more bigger space that you can decor yourself, studio have only one room with everything in it, like kitchen, living room ,and bedroom together. The only thing that is separated is the bathroom.

In a studio you sleep in the living room. Sometimes the kitchen is in the living room, too.

Studios are usually smaller ie, bed / kitchen / lounge etc in open plan area.
