Im hearing ppl say things like "greatest rookie QB ever" and that they will be SB contenders within the next 2-3 years b/c of him...and that he should be rookie of the year and other things of that nonsense. How in the hell do ppl really believe this? Heres why, b/c most ppl dont even watch the freakin games they just tune on ESPN and see the Titans have been winning lately and give VY WAY to much credit. Here ya go...
Vince Young in 2006 w/ the Titans has the second lowest passer rating at 65.9 (terrible), he has the WORST completion percentage at 51.8% (terrible), and he only averages 127.8 ypg (terrible). He has thrown 12 TD's and 11 INT's (terrible). Even as a rookie he hasnt been that great at all, as a matter fact he has been below average and Id be worried. Yeah they have been winning, but mainly b/c of their defense/ST. Did you see the Jags game? LoL they GAVE the Titans the game, Titans had less than 100 yards of offense...thats HORRIBLE! VY is nothing special...

Stomp....you are incorrect. Vince did not beat anyone, the Titans. You are giving credit where it is not due. He is merely a piece, and at that he is not that strong of a piece. Look at his numbers. Their defense and special teams play have won them these games. You are saying that he beat Eli and Peyton...no no you are taking a team vs team and turning it into a player vs player game...VY makes up 1/22nd of that team, and hes not the most important part at all.
And you say "he's just a rookie" blah blah so what? Thats an excuse? Marques Colston is a rookie and he's dominating, as well as DeMeco Ryans and Mark Anderson. So is Maroney and Jones-Drew, as well as Reggie Bush. They have solid numbers. VY again, is not doing anything extraordinary, his team is but he has little to do with that, he could be replaced by 25 other QB's that could do better.

LoL Shock...look at the stats...Matt Leinart has performed better if you compare them. Cutler and Leinart will both have better careers than Young, MARK THAT DOWN!!! Leinart is on a team that doesnt have a coach worth a damn, doesnt have an offensive coordinator worth a damn, has a terrible O-Line, has a horrible D, and really all around has nothing past himself, Edge, Boldin, and Fitzgerald. (except the Strong Safety)

Wow do any of you have any knowledge to sports in general? Vince Young is playing awful!!!!!!!!!! FACE IT!! And he's the best rookie this year? LOL yeah ok whatever. Beating Indy doesnt mean anything, they just lost to Houston and are 2-4 in the last 6 games. They did not beat San Diego moron. I bet they do not win 6 games next year, I guarantee it. Oh and Marcus Vick? LOL he didnt even make the 53 man roster...he was a practice squad player to start off with so obviously he couldnt have been that great.

Thats not really true. Yes the defense and chris henry desevre alot of credit. And he gives them it. But the numbers are kinda misleading. Most of those ints were in his first five game when they were 0-5. Also, most of his touchdowns have come during their winning streak. Plus you have to add his rushing yards and rushing TD's. Lastly, its more than stats. Look at brett farve. He threw a sh*t load of ints, even when he was doing good. But he was just clutch. Like you cant teach someone to do what vince does when hes needed most.

VINCE YOUNG IS A GOOD QB. YEAH, HE HAS BAD NUMBERS, BUT REMEMBER HES A ROOKIE. GIVE HIM SOME TIME ONE OR TWO YEARS TOPS, AFTER THAT IF DOESN'T MAKE NOTHING OF THE TITANS, THEN IT IS THE DEFENSE WINNING THE GAMES. EVEN THOUGH I HATE HIM FOR BEATING MY TROJANS, I THINK HE WILL DO O'RIGHT.

So very true. He hasn't done any better or worse than Vick thus far(NEWS FLASH:Vick sucks). Titans fans should give their thanks to Travis Henry more than VY. It would've helped if Buffalo's defense had ever heard of VY. They all looked shocked whenever he took off...
