Yes, I just saw it on the tv news. I can't believe it! The "Hardest Working Man in Show Business" died! No one could be funky as he. He was the originator of funk before Prince or MJ! He was an awesome entertainer (no one could dance "Night Train" like he did!). Even though he had some personal problems, he was still the best and was supposed to perform on New Year's Eve at BB King's club in NYC! What a shame! R.I.P. Godfather of Soul! What a Christmas bummer!
