there are two types of readers of book-
(a) One who read the books thoroughly and understand the points.
(b) One who try to remember the exact phrase of the book and just want to write it out when and where required.
Out of the above two- the second one is called book -worm, and the first one is a pleasant reader.
By The definition it is evident that it is better to be a pleasant reader than a book-worm.

What's wrong with being a bookworm? As long as it doesn't keep you from living life. Books are a great thing, but don't let what you read substitute for living. Books, movies, and video games can be a trap. You can get caught up in them and forget what is real and what is not. That's how Don Quixote got messed up. Reading is good for the mind, but don't forget to play too.

If reading becomes excessive then it's wrong. A book worm needs to take time to engage in physical things like walking or playing games such as basketball, or bally ball. The reader also needs to take care of his or her responsibilities such as work, house keeping, and personal hygiene.

Not much fun for the books but great for the worms! The earth will be richer for it, trees will be fertilised and it is good for the ecosystem. Life goes on!

I never 'became' a bookworm I just devoured books from age seven, I'm a grandmother now, and a writer and still I devour books. Enjoy the experience!

Sure. It's a wonderful thing to be.
Books hold the key to the foundation of culture - they're an essential part in the building up of any personality.
