My reason? Turkey is in oven and I am trying to kill time and not think about all I have to do to try and bring Xmas dinner to the table ... I might hit the cooking sherry later in a fit of panic.
But what is YOUR reason to being here on Christmas Day?
Do tell!

Much the same as you, I cooked the turkey yesterday along with the xmas puddy. Which was far too big for just two of us, I will not let him go shopping for it next time 22lb to be eaten by two, is stupid! Anyway the table has been part laid, the roast veg are ready for the oven to be lit, and the rest of the veg have been prepared. I'm just waiting for the pub to open. I plan to get very pissed and hopefully he'll will take over the last bit.

Well my family is asleep. Christmas morning isnt for another 7 hours here. I'm not big on Christmas anyways, I don't belive in the whole jesus being born on Christmas deal. I think he was bron at some point during the spring, so I only celebrate Christmas as a time to spend with my loved ones.

probably, properly upon getting up and beginning prezzies, making beneficial the 'chicken' is in the oven, and basically till now we flow around to the daughter's I reckon i could pop on and choose people who're at right here as Merry Christmas. yet after final 12 months i visit be asking who's having a merry Christmas and not basically wishing - have been given a contravention for being too known! One will study finally!!

Hubbie started work at 6.30 this morning and won't finish until 6.30 tonight. I prepared all of the meal yesterday and all I have to do is cook it! I am really looking forward to noon when I can put the turkey in the oven and get things started!

Happy Christmas everyone! - Whether you are Christian or not it's still nice to wish happiness to all.

Very similar to yours. Going to collect Mother soon so the Alcohol will have to wait unfortunately. Opened the pressies and decided to see if any other sad people were around...Quite a few of us!!!
Commiserations to those with Turkey problems, previous organisation is the key, but nothing is a big disaster, in future years you'll laugh about it!!!

I want to see how many people are in here on christmas day. This is relaxation time while others are still frantically getting things done.
Whistle whistle.....sipping some tea...
