i need help with the sims...?

Anybody...the sims pc?
i need help with installing the sims i've done it befor but that was 2 years ago i forgot, nd so i put the cd in and it wants my seriel number, i can't find it, or at least i don't know which one.
can smbody pls tell me where it is/

p.s, the case is from London, Brent cross
how does it start/how long is it?

The serial number is on the manual that came with the game.

It's 20 characters long & mine starts off as 9BQ

The serial number is typically printed either on the back or inside of the jewel case the CD came in.
