I happen to be in chronic pain all the time and when I say all the time- I mean 24/7- with no break what-so-ever- and have been for the past year and a half. When I read that word, in capital letters, every part of my body that is afflicted with pain, (my lower back, legs, arm, and hands) instantly sent a signal to my brain of unbelieable discomfort and my whole body started aching. I try to do things, like these yahoo answers to distract myself from my illness, but it was fascinating to me that all I had to do was read that word and it was enought to remind my body of the state that it was in and it reacted so severally. I won't even allow myself to look back up at it- because every time I do, my body does the same thing- pretty weird, huh? Thanks for the interesting question- although painful, it was weird to me that a word had so much impact on my physical body.

Yes, it's still constant, yes I take something for it, yes it's still there.
You have to love it though, Pain reminds you that your still alive, and you have a job to do, and your work does not have to be pretty.
Because you are paid for results. It makes me grumpy.
