He said it is a ROUND POOL! It is a cylinder (like a can of Tuna!)
There are only two dimensions: Height and width!
Volume of a cylinder:
(¶R^2) x H
Width (Diameter) is 18 feet, so Radius is half of that, or 9 feet.
(R^2)= 9x9 = 81
81 x ¶ (which is 3.14159) = 254.46879 sq ft
254.46879 x H (which is 4) = 1017.8760 cu ft.

The radius is 9 feet. You search the area of the base of the formed cylinder. You obtain 81pi.
You multiply this by the height (depht). You obtain 324pi.
