Who's your favorite frontman for a rock band? Note I said "frontman"; meaning they are not only a great vocalist, but they are also charismatic, great lyricists, and have the ability to hype up a crowd; they also embody much of the mystique of their band. Some of my all time faves:

There 2 that comes to my mind, simply because I think they are the best at what they do, these 2 guys have charisma, passion,great vocalists, and certainately knows how to hype the crowd.........
Jim Morrison - The Doors
Ozzy Osbourne - Black Sabbath and as a solo artist.

Ditto on Ozzy & Chris Cornell (at least w/ Sound Garden)
uh ...okay here are some I've seen with memorable performances:
Mike Muir (Suicidal Tendancies)
Jimmy Gestapo (Murphy's Law)-still stage dives!
Dee Snider (Twisted Sister)
Angelo Moore (Fishbone)-this guy will climb up walls!
Les Claypool (w/ Primus)
Rob Halford
Alice Cooper

The ultimate frontman will always be Mick Jagger. He pretty much invented it.
Iggy Pop is dope too. I heard a story that he wore see-through trousers on stage and, uh, fouled himself. Now thats rock and roll!
