Well done dude! It's hard to say without knowing your height etc but if i was you, I'd lose as much as I felt was necessary to stop me wondering if I'm overweight. (I'm glad you've done it over time because you will keep it off.) If you still believe yourself to be too heavy, you need to lose more. When you feel happy with your weight, you will stop questioning it.

depending on your height and age, I think a safe weight for a man is 170-210 lbs. For women is 130-160 lbs.
Congrats on the loss so far and good luck with the rest! I lost 30 lbs in the past 8 months. I wish it would come off faster but in the past 4 months I have had to buy new (smaller) bras, panties and shirts. I love that part of the weight loss!

Honestly- my mom and i were just talking about this today- everyone judges everyone based on their weight- if they are gaining or losing weight- if you are losing- the first thing out of their mouth when they see you is- "wow, you look great, did you lose weight?!" if you are gaining- they don't say anything to you, but you know they are saying it behind you back- and they disguise it like they feel bad for the person or it is out of concern for them like "oh, did you see so-and-so, they really put on a lot of weight, i wonder what is going on with them? Are they on a new medication, or are they depressed? I'm just really concerned." When in actuality they are just thinking- "geez- what the hell happened to them- did they eat the whole cow and then follow it up with an entire birthday cake?"
The reason I am saying this is because- #1 Losing weight is not the most important thing in the world. If it is affecting your health- then you should definetly do something about it- and it seems like you have- and you have done something amazing! Good for you! But there isn't like a magic number that anyone can give you. Just be prepared that when you finally reach whatever "goal" you set for yourself where you feel comfortable- people will stop saying things like "wow, you really are losing weight like crazy!" and that might be hard at first not to hear that any more. Just be sure to not let that effect your self esteem.
I am just realizing more and more that looks are so fleeting and if you don't know that there is more value to you than skin deep, you are in for a big shock as you get older. Keep losing weight and exercising- that is great! But there is so much more to life. Society places way to much emphasis on how everyone looks and I, for one, am tired of it. I have a little sister who is stick thin and drop dead gorgeous, and she hates herself. She weighs herself like 10x a day and obsesses about everything she eats. Losing weight is great- just don't let it become your whole exsistance and be happy with who you are at evey stage of your weight lose. Good luck and congrats on your accoplishment thus far!

Congratulations, that is moving right along.
It is hard to say, because I do not know how tall you are, or whether you are muscular.
I am 5'10" and weigh 170lbs, and I am considered borderline to overweight on the BMI scale. However, I have big shoulders and a small waist, and muscle weighs more than fat.
Keep up the good work.

How tall are you??? Be proud regardless of what anyone says. If you are seeing a doctor they can give you a general idea.
Don't get all skinny though.
Eat today and regret it later. Today is for eating great food.
Merry Christmas.
Congrats.

congrats on your weight loss! Great job!!
As for how much to lose..it depends on how tall you are. my guy is 5'11 and weighs just under 200 pounds. He plays hockey so he is quite fit, but I think he has a perfect body
