Can I polarize my sunglasses?

Question

I want to buy a pair of Burberry sunglasses, but they aren't polarized, and I want them polarized. If I buy them, can I polarize them later in an optic store?

May be possible in theory, however, it would be prohibitedly expensive, and I don't thinkf there is a place that woukd even consider it.

I think all expensive sunglasses should be made with polarized lenses.
