What is it called when someone wants you to do something and they just thinks it in there head...?

and you end up doing what they wanted you to do without you even knowing it?

Also how can this be overcome?

Maybe synchronicity is the word for it. But I don't really believe in that, and it's something I wouldn't pay any attention to. In my view that person is just wasting their time.
