People all across Canada are friendly and Welcoming. Obviously this si not everybody but in most cities (even our major ones) people are more then willing to help or accomidate others.

Vancouver has a big Asian Population. Along of the time Western Canadians refer to it was Wangcouver for this reason. It was rated the Best City in the World To live in 2005 ... Not much has changed in a a year, still a great city to live in.

I've heard it is pretty boring, and the mood is kinda blue. The 250+ rainy days / year effects people's mood. But some like it better than -20 some days some other parts of the country. I would say it is best to live in Vancouver in Winter and Toronto/Montral in Summer, but not all of us can choose, right?

Lovely city BUT WET, lived in the lower mainland for 2 yearsthat was all I could take .
Around the two year residence mark you will notice your hands and feet becoming webbed and nobody tans there , they just rust.
