I want to go to Tijauna... by myself is it safe? People ive talked to said its safe if you go in the daytime and not at night .. is this true? I want to have a quickie at Adelita's and then stay there for a while... maybe go to Hong Kong or something... i might have two quickies.
So, is it safe to go alone during the day?

Yes it is safe to go alone. I always go alone to Tijuana. Primarily because I do not want to have worry about what the other person wants to do. However, my advice is: Night time is safe, but stay in well populated areas. Do not wander out exploring into the neighborhoods. Keep your wits about you. Do not drink to excess. I NEVER, have more than 3 beers, during an entire night. They do not have coffee in the bars, and I really have a problem with paying 3 to 5 dollars for a glass of soda, that is mainly ice. So I order bottled water, between beers. Drinking to excess in Tijuana is a good way to at least get ripped off badly, or worse case scenario, wake up in a Mexican jail, naked and broke, and wondering how the 7734 you got there.

For a guy, it's safe. If you stay past dark the worst that will happen is you'll lose all your money to a cop, hooker, or thieves.
For females, it is NOT SAFE - well, a female having a quickie at Adelita's might be butch enough to pull it off (no pun intended).

well Mr. Queso, I have gone during the day and night by myself. But I make sure I only have a couple of beers and definitely stay away from the drugs.

My brother in law spent 1yr in the persian gulf in the first gulf war and he said that he was far more scared in tj than he ever was in the gulf. Personally I wouldn't go alone.

go during the day, if at night just don't wonder. As long as youre not an idiot and your not going into a slum, don't worry.
