I really do like "Jamie" for a girl, but it sounds like it should be short for something. Any ideas on a bigger name to go with it? Or just general middle names for "James" or "Jamie". Daddy is Iranian so we were thinking a persian or turkish name would be nice. Any ideas? I'm still lost in website/book limbo!

I think that name Jamie is really cute for a little girl or little boy. I love the spelling Jaymie too because the nickname Jay is adorable for a little girl.

Salaam dear,
Im Persian... Jamie lyn is good but it is not Persian.
Jamila for a girl and Jamil for a boy is good if u want it with letter "J".
Majnun is not a good name for a boy... we have this character just in a fiction story... the meaning of Majnun is "Crazy".
there's a lot of persian names.
Persian names mostly have meaning.. which meaning do u want it to have?

Jasmine or Jemima or Jessamine could all be shortened to Jamie. I like Jessamine the best. Then you could call her Jamie for short.
