No because upon knowing their real character, it isn't exactly hard to lose them. making friends is easy. building trust. breaking barriers. getting to know their insides. losing a friend can be done in a second.
and in a second, those walls are back up. If only it worked that way with the iraqi reconstruction

Yes but now they are former friends. Sometimes you have to associate with a person for a while before their true colors show.

Not really. I get a sense of a person right away if he / she is good or bad. If a good person, I pursue befriending them. If a person with a bad heart, I try to avoid them or be very cautious right from the start.

Not true friend. I did not have many friends, kids found me to be strange, and teased me, and was mean to me, even teachers. I did not know why. The few friends i had and still have liked me cause i was different, or as they put it strange. So if someone is going to like you, they are going to like you for who you are, not who you think they want you to be.

I think most people do. First impressions are very important, and people know that, so they present their best selves when dealing with people at first. So, if you think somebody is a jerk, realize that if you had met them under different circumstances, they could be your friend
