Green Day until The Killers come out with as many hits over a decade like Green Day has. Still like the Killers though...

Green Day before Dookie was better than anything the Killers ever did. Based on what both bands crank out today, I'd go with the Killers, but it's close.

i'm sorry to say there is no competition here
the who's been running for almost 20 years
has nine albums and another on their way
writes all their songs and not just about "oh dear she's dating someone else and i feel so dull now" but about real subjects
the one who won best band in the world, best live band and best video on seperate awards ceremonies last year
no comparison at all. the killer will fade out in a few years time infact they started to now. their music is okay at first but after a few of their winey little tunes they become dull and boring
green day will live on forever.
and until the killers have acheived as much as green day (which WILL never happen) there will never be a comparesson

They both have great music, but I vote Green Day. A few reasons for me are: Green Day is original, have reinvented themselves successfully, and soldier on. Not to mention Brandon Flowers is a whiny b**** who likes to run his mouth about everyone around him.
