Okay people, calm down on the liquid coolers and freezers, he didn't say 4Ghz, he said 3Ghz. You should however have an aftermarket heatsink, something like the Thermaltake Big Typhoon, I wouldn't recommend trying it with the stock heatsink. As for steps, I will be happy to give you step by step help, but I am not going to waste my time typing all of it here, because I have done that before and a lot of people just ignore it. Send me an email if you are serious about it and have the proper cooling.

EDIT: Got your email and tried to respond, but it said your address wasnt' confirmed. After you confirm it send me another and I will respond.

If you're new to overclocking, I wouldn't recommend trying this unless you have someone show you face to face. I have the same processor, and I just use the utilities that came with my Asus motherboard to overclock it so i don't have to do it through the BIOS. I won't give you a step by step but I will tell you this. Get liquid cooling (which will run you around $250 for a decent setup) to keep your system at an optimum tempurature and to increase your system's stability while overclocking. i don't see why you'd need to overclock this system anyway.

i would recomend to be careful doing this, you would need to invest in liquid or freezer based cooling, as your going to be pusing your processor harder.

i would increase the Front side bus in small incriments, and rund a few applications etc first as you wanna see how it eally handles.

when your system starts to go unresponsive or not fell right youve gone to far.

im not sure how well foxconns boards are like for overclocking, but ive had good results using asus and gigabyte boards
