Sounds like you need a brokerage or retirement account.

Two words have done a world of good for me:

Charles Schwab.

Head to a broker. DO NOT do business on line for this. You need to be able to sit in someones office and ask questions and get immediate answers.

A broker can be found in any yellow pages phone book.
