If you have a chance to run to the grocery store in the morning, you could make up a little basket (or pretty bag) of teas and some little tea cookies (gingersnaps, shortbread, etc.). You might even find a pretty mug/cup, too. Hopefully you have a major grocery chain in your area. Ours is open on Christmas. Good luck!

Spiced Holiday tea. I am not exactly sure of the amounts but it is delicious!
These are ballpark, but it will taste good even if they are off a bit
12 oz container of Tang
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup instant tea
1 Tbs cinnamon
1 Tbs cloves
Mix dry ingredients and put it in a festive container :0)
To serve: heat a mug of water in the micro and stir in 2 Tbs of tea.
It is really good!

Hi! here are some ideas....

- a small plant (maybe w/ heart-shaped leaves)
- a drawing or pasted cut-outs (of your family members, christmas spirit, love, peace, etc.)
- a voice message, with kind words so she can hear you even when youre out somewhere
- gloves or scarf
- cake/cookies/cupcakes/doughnuts...something soft and yummy
- a rocking chair (maybe?), or soft cushion or pillow or towel of her fav color
- a box of chocolates, neatly wrapped
- some photos, recent and old, of you, your grandma, your family, etc.
- a colorful christmas card
- a wreath (of holly?) w/ small ornaments
- some handmade origami (like a christmas tree, Santa, bell, heart, etc.)
- a grandma portrait, (quick sketch, then color)
- handmade or already-made lamp (w/ soft light)

......well i'm out of ideas...

hope they help!!!

good luck! d(^o^)b

Why don't you go to one of the craft stores and by something from there? (Michaels, Joannes, etc) Also nice is framed pictures of yourself and family. You can get the picture frames that have multiple holders. Better than store bought.

Maybe you could burn her a nice cd with holiday music or some of her favorite songs. If she has a dvd player you could make a nice slide show of family pictures. Good luck.

make up a little coupon book for her. they could be for things like lunch out to her favorite restaurant, an afternoon of shopping, day trip to the casino (if she's anything like my grandma! lol).
