Because love and lingerie have nothing to do with one another. Lingerie is for looks and that stuff, love is how you feel.

Not only can you see lingerie you can feel it. It's popular because of it's texture as well. The feel of soft silk and lace are very sexy. Good question. Hard to explain but I tried.
