Just how much possible good can the Internet do if people try to use it for that?

What good ends can the internet be used for, using what good means and how? and would you help out if you saw a website trying to focas all those efforts striving for the maximum good it can possibily do if such a thing was being attempted on the largest scale with all the people it can muster? Could it be a good means, if it is conducted ethically, for striving for ALL the good ends that exsist in the world at once and actually make progress on all of them, especially if it is trying to do so as effectivily, efficently and smoothly as possible, trying especially hard to not have negative side effects, and trying to preserve what already exsists that is good, or at least not bad, using all means of learning, knowing and understanding known to research and gain consensous on how?

The only thing the internet can do on its own is spread information. That is a great thing in itself because knowledge is power.
