Some are serious answers, some are frivolous. It is left to the asker to take what he feels are answers that need further thought from his side. Barring questions which have definite answers (as in math), any answers that you get need to be viewed as an opinion. You can then decide what further action needs to be taken, and this is your decision to which you alone are responsible for the consequence.
Sometimes answer to questions are clear and helpful, other times they could confuse you more or mislead you. Even if you get a couple of well-reasoned answers, it is enough for you to think independently.

Well, you get different opinions and answers. Its up to you to choose which is the best answer for others who are asking the same question you are.

More questions, which eventually all add up to the answer we wanted/not (via other routes). Sometimes we get answers too, which we would never take on board if they had come from our sub-conscious, but from other people, they all add up to a rounded, well-informed (or not) answer.

I enjoy learning what others think. Sometimes, answers provide a point of view that we have never or would ever consider, so it also helps you to widen your thoughts.
