in order to USE it as an item, you need like 6 marlboro tentacles, 6 steel pipes, and 6 remedy+

Go to Tears' Point near Esthar and pick up the Solomon Ring. Now, collect 6 Steel Pipes, 6 Remedy+, and 6 Malboro Tentacles. You can get the Steel Pipes from Wendigos, Remedy+ from Alexander's Med LV Up Ability, and the Malboro Tentacles from Malboros. Once you've collected these Items, use the Solomon Ring and you will recieve Doomtrain as another GF.

just buy the map of the unknown king,it will cost you 30000 gil,but it is worth it,since with out a map it will take u for ever to get the brothers,and since u r already there then u have to flip a switch to some gate of a water fall or some thing if i remember right then from the place where u found the first brother go to the go extreme other side of the maze where u will fight now the 2 brothers at the same time,just cast float on them and they will be out in no time,and to get the limit breaks for quistis,u have to find the items needed for her,there r many ways,first u win some cards and then u refine them to items,or beat the monsters that drop items that quistis can learn her blue magic from,for example only:the ruby dragon drops an item that quistis learn a fire limit break from it...

get the solomon ring from the esthar sorceress memorial at the end of disk 3. laguana will have talked about defeating ultimicia. you need 6 steel pipes and other items. he will appear without a fight.
