Vince Youngs team is just ok at best, but since Vince took the starting position, they win, by any means neccesary. Is it this auora that he has his biggest benifit. He seems to make everyone around him, even the special teams and defense play better. He still has a lot to prove but are his ability and attitude (or whatever it is about him that brought the Titans from 0-5 to 8-7) what make him already positioned to be the best ever.

Also dont compare Vince to Vick. Vince has told everyone that he wants to be a pocket passer and plays like one most of the time. His line is not the best so he must use his legs for getting a good throw. Vince also only "runs" the ball about 3 times a game, normally for 10-40 yards a pop, what does this mean, he is a smart runner. If you can name me a QB who can throw for a first down all the time then you are lying. Vince knows he can't get first down's soley with his arms so he uses the most impressive physical body of any NFL QB. If players didnt use their ability and physical form to make plays people would think of school when you mentioned "the bus." VY also just came off a game at Bufallo where it is extremely difficult to play and had an over 140 passer rating throughout the entire first half.

the titans have the WORST DEFENSE in the leauge. Also Marino had a team. VY also has had a 60% completion rating over the last 6 weeks. I am not young and I have seen almost every tennessee titans game this year. Cutler also may have played well but he has a playoff caliber team. Who was Kerry Collins.......oh yeah he was the MVP of the SUPERBOWL. Also VY has a lot to do with the defense playing better because he has given them hope. Travis Henrey averages 2.9 yards per carry, so he really dosent carry this team. The Titans have NO count them 0 pro bowlers on their team. And what happened?????????? They are tied with Cincinatti, Kansas City, and better than Buffalo, the G-men, the Colts, the Jaguars, and many other teams in the NFL. Vince Young is the only difference between the team that was 0-5 and the team that is now 8-7. Haters Shut up. Also VY doesnt have any notable recievers. Cutler has this guy named.......ROD SMITH. And Lineart has 3 good receivers.

Steve Young.............anyone remember him. Yeah he was a mobile QB and one of three with 30,000 passing yards and 3,500 rushing yards. The other two were Fran Tarkington and Steve McNair, pretty good company considering Steve McNair has admitted to the fact that Vince Young will be a better player than himself. Do some reasearch please playskooll before answering, capice.

Take it easy. It's only one season. You can make your judgment on that in a few years.
At any rate, he is extremely good. He's definitely got my vote for rookie of the year since he basically single-handedly pulled the Titans into the playoff race (and Pacman Jones).

Nope not the best QB ever. One season doesn't make a QB great. He looks good but we'll see if he can overcome what Def. Coordinators have for him in the next few years. That is if the Madden cover curse does't get him first :)
Come back to earth! Football has 3 sides and until he can start jedi mind tricking opposing defences, kickin 60 yd FGs, averaging 12.5 sacks, and being able to complete 70 yard touchdown receptions to himself he doesn't make the whole team better. Maybe the players on the field but not the whole team. He might give the others a confidence boost but that's about it. Unlike the NBA, golf, and tennis, football is a team sport and he can't do it all.
I'll take a pocket passer first and a runner second anytime. I don't remember a running QB ever being one of the "greatest QBs". Do you? Randel Cunningham, Fran Tarkington, Doug Flutie....good but not great.
Don't get me wrong....I'm a fan so far.

No, he is not the best rookie QB ever. No he will not be the best QB ever. He will be very good and probably will go to the HOF, but he will not be the best ever, I dont think he'll come close.
No he is not the best QB in the NFL right now, no he is not even the rookie of the year. He is not the best rookie QB right now (Cutler is playing great football in Denver, first rookie QB to start off his career with 4 straight multi TD games, last rookie to do that, some guy named Marino in Miami).
Vince Young has turned the Titans around, and will be a good pro. He is more of a McNabb type of player than a Vick type of player. Vick relies on his feet too much while McNabb and Young rely on them when they have to. Young is also bigger and stronger than McNabb, so I think he'll be a better NFL QB than McNabb is.
Best ever? Wont even come close.
That's reserved for one of 3 90's prime QBs:
Marino, Elway, or Favre.

Vince Young isnt even close the best rookie QB ever and he will never become a GREAT back...no chance. The team has done much better since he has entered but who couldnt do better than Kerry Collins? LoL Kerry Collins is garbage.
Vince Young plays on a team with a good core of RB's (Henry, Brown, White) and they have a pretty tough defense. Vince Young hasnt even played that well. He's done some good things, and he has some great attributes but he still doesnt pass the ball that well. His QB rating is in the 60's and his completion percentage is in the low 50's...thats pretty much, terrible. Whats the most yards he's passed for in one game? Not many. His legs are dangerous but so are Michael Vicks, how is he doing? Oh yeah, he's pretty bad.
Young has ALOT to learn and I just never see him being that great. You have to be a better passer to be great in this league and he isnt that great of a passer. The least important thing for a QB in the NFL is his running capabilities, and ppl get to focused on that.
And as far as the Titans winning since he has come in. Yeah they have and like I said who couldnt replace Kerry Collins and look good? But also, their defense has played MUCH better and have won them most of their games, is that a tribute to VY? No...has nothing to do with him. Look at the game against the Jags, VY was absolutely horrendous and the defense scored 3 TD's to win. VY does all his damage against horrible defenses, like Indy, NYGiants, Buffalo, Houston......
Just watch and see, he is the 3rd best QB in this draft alone behind Leinart and Cutler who have actually put up better numbers. Time will tell....
Oh yeah and VY has the second worse passer rating in the league (65.9). He also has the LOWEST completion percentage in the league (51.8). He only passes for 127.8 YPG and his TD to INT ratio is 12:11...those are TERRIBLE even for a rookie. Sry but you are way off base on this one.

Young is one hell of a QB. This is the diamond in the rough for the Titans ! It has been a strange year for QBs choking and getting replaced with bench backers, which pan-out to be better quality than the initial starters, i.e. Blesdoe, Plummer, and the Titan's McNair ! This guy is good and will go on to greatness (barring injuries) !!!

Dan Marino went to the Super Bowl his rookie year. How can you get any better than that? Tony Romo is not a rookie by the way. He's been in the league a couple of years. Technically Kurt Warner won the Super Bowl in his rookie year. He had played in the Arena League prior to the NFL.

you know what, this thing is starting to get scary man, vince young is starting to become what he was in texas, did u see on that bootleg, had no receivers open, ran the other way for a toushdown, i mean goddamn!!, i think ur right his auora, is filled with this unmatched confidence and u just know as long as he has the ball in his hands ur going to win, hes like the dad, u jus know ur not gonna starve, daddy is gonna get us some food and christmas presents..lol..i mean has a really weird confindence and i like how it spreads on his team mates, the defense is playing better than it has in a couple of years, i think if he was in the afc, they would go deep in the playoffs..so yea i think hes the best rookie ever, too much confidence, too many attributes that make him and the whole team scary..
romo is playing good, but he gets rattled up too easily, grossman just rides on his defense, montana didnt win a super bowl in his firts year... i mean hes the best rookie i have ever seen...too smart and again, too confident to be rattled,

ROFLCOPTERS! Where have I heard this before? Oh, right...I can switch Michael Vick and Vince Young and there's little difference. The Titans win by the legs of Travis Henry...VY just kinda stands there getting hyped and having sportscasters give him BJs...

I under no circumstances said tommy frazier play, yet from the qb's i have seen Vince youthful is the superb college qb i have seen. I watched him interior the rose bowl antagonistic to U of M and he replaced into not tacklable.... And that replaced into basically one recreation of many the position he basically led an inferior crew to victory back and back. i imagine he replaced into fantastic and that is a shame that he did not win the Heisman. bypass blue!

rothlisberger had like 12 straight wins as a rookie, setting an nfl record. also, in his first two years, he went like 20 and 2 or something.
dan marino took the dolphins to the superbowl in his rookie year.
so far, all vince has done is win 5 in a row.
