Hi,
I live in a home that was built in 1902.
A friend and I were watching tv one night (and were stone cold sober) and both of us saw a white figure floating towards the stair case and then up. Heard footsteps then nothing.
We have heard our names being called, and no-one else was home. My nephew had a favorite toy, a stuffed turtle. He lost it one day while he was here. We searched everywhere for it, several times because he was devastated. About 2-3 nights later, after all the lights were turned off upstairs (which by this time we were not using) there would be a shadow coming from somewhere that had the exact shape of a large turtle. This shadow appeared for about 2 weeks on the same wall every time. Then one night it didnt appear. The next morning we found the turtle lying in plain site on top of the dresser that we had to have walked by 100 times.

When I lived in my parents house, (which was only 3 yrs old at the time) my grandmother had lived with us for a period of time before she had to be moved to a Nursing Home where she passed away.
Anyway, one morning my mom, sister and I were just getting around at about 7AM and we heard a crash, we went to the living room (that was not used) and we had a stand that had 5 shelves on one side, but the 2 lowest shelves where about 1 & 1/2 -2' longer. All of the items that we had on the 3rd and 4th shelf had somehow ended up on the floor, nothing else on the stand was even moved.
Another time we heard a noise in the same room, when we went to investigate, we found that all of the family pictures on the north wall had flown across the room ( Appx 13') and slid down BEHIND the the sofa on the opposite wall.
I am not telling you my age because frankly it's none of your business, but I am an adult and I am a mother and wife, so obviously I am female, and I live in NW Ohio

Yes. I have auditory experiences if I enter a room where they are present. I don't invite this and don't particularly want it, either. It is a kind of squelching or high-pitched buzzing that can drown out what others are saying in the room. I usually leave and/or mentally tell it to go away and leave me alone - I don't want to be its vessal. All my life these things have bothered me, so I keep them under control. The only time I felt one, it was very soothing. I was upset and crying. I heard something walking across the floor, (I was not at home), and thought it was the cat. Then I felt a hand lightly brushing my cheek and trying to comfort me. It was very nice and sweet and didn't freak me out at all. Later, I found out the house was entirely haunted. I didn't hear the squelch, so I wasn't prepared. If I had known, it would have freaked me out before I had a chance to experience it. I also get stuff in my dreams that I don't ask for and don't want.

I experience a lot of aggressive ghosts were they try to suffocate me in my sleep.. and sometimes I get attacked while sleep paralysis until I pass out and wake up the next day with sore spots in my body.. sometimes when Im awake I experience whispers that pass by my ears and I capture words that go back to old scripts that are not used anymore... I feel them in my room all the time.. and I believe in them.. and some times I see people that I never saw before but once they pass my sight they standout staring in my eyes and they have a power were they force me to look down. and not look in their eyes! and after that I never see them again.. I have dreams where I get killed by them afterwards... and this is all real... and unfortunately people stay away from me once they hear my story about all of this... and this is nothing but in general.. there is more things with details...

I don't call them ghosts, they are demons. I felt a demonic spirit come into my body while I was laying on my bed, it entered in through my mouth when I yawned, I felt like throwing up but my mouth wouldn't open and I couldn't move my body. I was laying on my stomach when this happened, I started screaming and repeating over and over in my mind " I rebuke you Satan in the name of the Jesus, then my legs started raising up and I started praying in my mind God please don't let my mom walk by the door and see me like that, my legs started lowering all the way down and my neck was hurting , that's how far my body was raised up, everything raised except my head. I thanked God and went to sleep. See, I had just gotten home from drug re-hab a few days before and that night I told my mom" I will never let anyone or anything ever bring me down like that again" meaning the drug-lifestyle I had been living non-stop for 7 years and through 4 pregnancies. A lot of wickedness over those years. I guess Satan thought he had a good hold of me but thanks to God's grace and mercy I am saved.

Saw them from a far, heard of the noises, used to believe in them. Well, that was the past, ghost is actually demons pretend to fool people into believing that the dead is still live. The truth has set me free from believing in demons. Did you know that you can't protect yourself from ghost but you can protect yourself from the demons? Who created ghost? The demons. Who created the demons? Well, they were created by the Almighty God as good angels (before they were called demons).

I have had experiences with the spirits of my grandfather who came to me after he died. I was talking to him, telling him I missed him etc. and suddenly he was standing there next to my bed. He scared me, I wasn't expecting that so I asked him to leave and he did. I haven't seen him since then. Next experience I have is a rather regular one. My mother-in-law likes to turn off and on the water in the kitchen sink, flicker the lamps, and open and close kitchen cabinets. She does this in both the homes I have lived in since her death as well as my own mother's home. Sounds crazy to most people but true.

Ok i have had many encounters. But they turn out not to be ghost but they are fallen angels and demons masquerading as ghost to some, gremlins to others, aliens to the scientific, and pink elephants to the drunks, and to the witches they appear as gods and goddesses, they are all demons and can be found in Gods word. And they have messed with me my whole life, and when I finally found Gods word at the age of 29, and realized that the spirit world was real and these demons were trying to kill me. I found out that the word of God exposes them and there schemes and is a weapon that they fear. They will flea at the name of Jesus! That's the only weapon that will make them leave you alone. The name of Jesus.

I've had a few experiences that could be percieved as being Ghostly Encounters. But, I don't feel inclined to tell the details of them in this posting.

My great grandma, once believed that she was being visited, to say one last farewell, by my, at the time, recently deceased great grand pa.
