but it feels like such a waste to move to a different field after 3 years of grad school and thousands of tuition dollars.

This happens quite often and it is unfortunate because as you say, tuition is very expensive. I once saw a 20/20 program interviewing people with masters and phd's who were not happy in their jobs. I suggest you explore all the options you have within your degree. I did that and ended up in a very satisfying job my last 15 years of work (then I retired). Search!! Because it's not worth staying in a job you hate to go to every day...life is too short! You might not need a whole new field. Some people choose to work in government jobs because of their degrees and are completely satisfied.. Not as much money, but happy. Check the internet and state gov. jobs, etc. Good luck.

I had 9 different jobs (I am 21 now), and because I hate pretty much most of them now I work on eBay as self-employed.

i just got fired.

i love being unemployed!!!

Do your worst, look for something on the side, then get fired, claim unemployment if you haven't found something as you've been looking.

i hate my job .. but i figure .. ive been there for ages, no use starting all over again somewhere else ..
