Is there software that allows me to burn a cd if my computer is running on MS-Dos? If there is what is it? I have a lot of photos to transfer out of that computer and I need it urgently, any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can. There are several options:

DOS CD Roast is the most well known. It is now in Beta 3; I used Beta 2 and it worked.

Goldenhawk, which is also free to download:

Scroll down to "Cdrtools (cdrecord, mkisofs, cdda2wav, readcd, ...) by Joerg Schilling"
The creator's website has moved, but the software is still available:

You can also download CDRTools from here (scroll down to "Other Version"):

Anyone who says "DOS is dead" is ignorant or is a jerk who wants to tell you what software to use. You can even connect USB devices through DOS; I have (PDA, printer...).

Look for the file nerocmd.exe in your Nero installation directory. It provides some command-line burning capabilities. You can also download the Nero SDK and roll your own, if you like:

You might also consider products like Gear Pro Professional Edition that claim to provide extensive batch burning support:

Yeah if you have the driver downloaded into the computer then yeah. The way I would do it is go into DOS and use the copy command. Like copy this file to D:\ try using the *.* wilde card..
