CHECKED THE CIRCUIT IT'S FINE. ALL THE WIRING IN DRYER IS FINE. COULD IT BE THE 220 PLUG IN NEW DRYER JUST SEEMS LIKE IT IS GETTING NO POWER TO IT. THE DRYER WAS WORKING MY DAUGHTER OPENED THE DRYER AND IT WON'T COME BACK ON. DO YOU THINK THAT THE PLUG IN WENT OUT OR WHAT COULD IT BE?

Check the contact switch on the door. If it is not made or it is not making when you close the door the dryer will not work. Check this by making the switch manually and turn the dryer on, if it starts up there is your problem.

It could be that the switch inside the door is stuck and won't engage when you close the door. Look for a pin somewhere around the door that should be sticking out or it may be pushed in and is supposed to be out.

occasionally when you open the door, if the dryer has been running, its like it has an internal temp gauge. It has to cool down and reset itself. Sit tight and try again in 15 min. Good Luck!

there's a little safety button that turns off the dryer when you open the door, perhaps it is stuck.

That's happened to me, and it was the heating element. I've had to have it replaced twice. Thankfully it wasn't too expensive.
