I think this song is definitely for Bow Wow for two reasons. One, he needs a lot of reassurance and wants to dominate the woman, so she has to be submissive to some degree. That ain't really Ciara's bag, so she has to come across as willing to change for him. Second, I notice that in the video and in the song, she is working make herself alluring in many different ways for Bow Wow. Variety being the spice of his life, she probably had to constantly renew herself to please him. I think Bow Wow's "Short Like Mine" is for Ciara and that the relationship just sort of short circuited before the release of their respective singles. You know how it is in HipHoppywood. Sigh!!!

there's no sure-fire answer for that question. sometimes artists just write songs to write them, and sometimes they use that excuse for the truth. my guess is that she just can't sing anything except one key and sings the same melody differently.
