It's slow at places until around 5pm or so. Don't go any later than 4.

At that time of day you should be able to just walk right in. Most people will have a party at their home or they go to another friend's house. Some people may opt to order take-out. Pizza and Chinese are always good.

I tried to be open on NYE a few years, but it was deader than hell. Everyone was out partying at home or wherever. I'd close early and go home and open a bottle of bubbly.
