Chevy or Dodge? Since my Pathfinder is done, i want to get a 4x4 truck. It's between Chevy or Dodge...i'd like a chevy, but i really want a v8 with a standard transmission. If i got a dodge i'd want the 318, if i got a chevy i'd want a 350. it seems hard to find either with manual transmissions...who made more with those engines?

Niether. I see more manual transmissions in FORDS than anything else, but most trucks of any brand are sold with automatics and that just gets worse with every year. I also prefer manual transmissions over automatics. Just comb the used ads/lots till you find what you want (318 and 350 are no longer offered in new trucks so I assume you're looking for a used one).

sounds like your talking 98 or older(chevy doesn't make the 350 in new models-4.8,5.3,or 6.0)
go with chevy 95-98 model yr with the vortec 350, you'll get better gas mileage and more hp

I do not think they make trucks with manual tranmissions anymore. I have never heard of them with Manual transmissions.
