baby jcps ( jungle carpet pythons) sell for like 50 -60 where i live, would cost more if they parents are a high gold color. george why would you even post if you dont like snakes ? if you dont like them why not just stay out of the repitle section. it seems like alot of worthless answers to some questions on this fourm. someone asked a question and they get answers like i dont like snakes or kill the snake why even bother answering if your going to say something like that, it doesnt help with answering anything for the person looking for info..

I have a trio of adult jungle carpet breeders so I'd have to say get a jcp. I think they're more colorful (especially if you buy from good bloodlines - ask to see the parents), have a better temperament as adults and since they enjoy climbing you could put them in a large display enclosure with branches or ledges and always see them out and about. I don't have as much experience with bloods but they seem to be very much like balls and prefer to stay hidden for most of the day. Ease of care should be about the same with either the blood or the jcp though the jcp will get longer and would prefer an enclosure that allowed for climbing.

Depending on the color I'd say it could be as little as $199.

I would pay to return it to nature, not to captivate it.
